to Warsaw, Poland
1. The old town - 85% of Warsaw city was destroyed in WW2. The city was then rebuilt as a replica of its former self. Despite being a 'new' old town, it's restoration was so remarkable it has recieved UNESCO recognition.
2. Pawilony - an area of bars at the back of Nowy Świat street, is a great spot to grab a cheap beer 🍺
3. Pierogi - Zapiecek is a chain you'll find all over the old town. They pander to tourists, i.e. costumed staff, but don't be deterred. The food is inexpensive and their boiled pierogi taste just like my Babcia used to make.
